LBSNAA Festival of Literature and Arts

LBSNAA Festival of Literature & Arts was held on 12th and 13th April, 2019 at the LBSNAA Campus, Mussoorie. The festival started with inauguration of Book Fair, philately exhibition and “Celebrating Indian Languages” painting exhibition by Dr. Sanjeev Chopra, Director, LBSNAA. This was followed by interactive sessions and book readings by eminent writers on issues as diverse as governance, fiction & contemporary Issues and writings in Hindi & Indian Languages. Over 110 of 182 Officer Trainees of the IAS Phase-I, took roles as Session Moderators, Escorts, Reviewers and Rapporterurs. The officers had also reviewed the books of the authors, who participated in the Litfest.
The first evening saw the Cultural Program “SAJDA” by legendry Vijay Vardhan & Radhika Chopra. The morning on the 2ndday was filled with flute performance by artists from ITC Sangeet Academy. The second day of the festival was also dedicated to interactive sessions and book readings. An interactive session with the famous film lyricist Irshad Kamil along with Dastaan-e-Raag Darbaari performance by Mahmood Farooqui marked the highpoints on the 2nd day.
