The Centre for Rural Studies has conducted a National Workshop titled “The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (RFCTLARR Act, 2013) and other Land Acquisition Acts: Issues in implementation, Divergence and Convergence” on 4-5 April, 2019 at Nehru Auditorium, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration. The workshop was sponsored by Department of Land Resources, MoRD, GoI. Shri Niranjan Kumar Sudhansu, IAS, Centre Director, Centre for Rural Studies and Dr. Nivedita P. Haran, IAS (Retd.) addressed and shared their valuable inputs with the participants during Inaugural session. Dr. Nivedita P. Haran, IAS (Retd.) delivered valedictory address to the participants of the workshop. The faculty members of the Academy and participants from various organizations participated in the two day workshop and delivered their valuable inputs in the context of RFCTLARR Act, 2013. Total 34 participants across the country attended the workshop (Male 28 and Female 6).
