The Centre for Disaster Management has conducted a “Training Programme on Role of Technology in Community Level Disaster Mitigation for Scientists & Technologists” from 26-30 November, 2018 at G.B. Pant Hall, Main Campus, LBSNAA. The training programme sponsored by Department of Science &Technology, Government of India under the DST-Plan Scheme “National Programme for Training of Scientists and Technologists working in government sector”. Sri Raghuraj Rajendran, IAS, Director, CDM and Sri Niranjan Kumar Sudhanus, IAS, Deputy Director (Sr.), LBSNAA addressed and shared their valuable inputs with the participants during Inaugural session.  Sri Anil Kumar Sinha, IAS (Retd) delivered valedictory address to the participants the training programme. The faculty members of the Academy and resource persons from various organizations participated in the five day training programme and delivered their valuable inputs to make them efficient in community level disaster mitigation. The 23 participants of the training programme represented from 9 states across India.
