The Center of Excellence (CoE) of B. N. Yugandhar
Centre for Rural Studies (BNY-CRS) is focused on improving land governance in
the states of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, and

best practices in the region. The CoE supports the use of new technologies,
such as drone and GIS techniques for surveying and digitization. The CoE also
provides training on these new technologies in the themes of land surveying, computerization
of records of rights (RoRs), and digitization of cadastral maps etc.
