Overview of the Medical Centre
Overview of the Medical Centre

The Medical Centre of the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) has evolved gradually over the years in response to the healthcare and medical support requirements of the Academy.

What began as a small Sub-centre with limited manpower and basic medical facilities has progressively developed through the creation of medical posts, expansion of nursing and technical staff, establishment of a dedicated Medical Centre building, and introduction of emergency services.

The development of the Medical Centre reflects the gradual strengthening of medical infrastructure and human resources at the Academy. The historical milestones indicate that the facility commenced its journey as a Sub-centre in 1959 and subsequently expanded in terms of staffing, infrastructure and services over the following decades.

The important developments in the history of the Medical Centre are presented below in chronological, year-wise order.
