The Centre engages with several national and international institutions of repute in the field of cooperatives and livelihoods. In the past, the Centre has collaborated with the Wageningen Agricultural University, Wageningen, the Netherlands. The Centre has active collaborations with the International Cooperative Alliance, the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA), the National Dairy Development Board, Anand, Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Kolkata, Ch. Charan Singh National Institute of Agricultural Marketing (CCSNIAM) Jaipur, National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) Hyderabad, Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management (VAMNICON) Pune and the National Cooperatives and Dairy Federation of India Ltd NCDFI).

Beside these, the Centre actively engages with cooperatives such as the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd.(NAFED), Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited(IFFCO) and AMUL on a periodic basis to understand the situation on ground and undertake policy-oriented research for addressing the challenges present in the sector.
