The Government of India has entrusted the responsibility to this Centre for organization of an International Conference on Cooperatives on the occasion of India @75. Towards this, several discussions are being held with the Cooperative, Corporate and the Government bodies in bringing out the key policy related improvements, learnings from the past, challenges in the present and opportunities for the future.

The Centre is also collaborating with NAFED towards publishing a case study of its turn-around from a loss to profit making organization.

The Centre is overseeing a Research Study on “Transparency in Primary Commodity Procurement” under the direction of the Chief Vigilance Commission (CVC) of India. The study is being undertaken by the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) along with other reputed institutions such as Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management (VAMNICON) Pune, Ch. Charan Singh National Institute of Agricultural Marketing (CCSNIAM) Jaipur, National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) Hyderabad, Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Kolkata and National Cooperatives and Dairy Federation of India Ltd NCDFI) that are the Knowledge Partnering Institutions (KPI).
