The IAS Professional Course Phase-II (2024 Batch) commenced at LBSNAA, Mussoorie, on 29 June 2026, bringing together 187 Officer Trainees (OTs), including 184 IAS Officer Trainees & 3 officers from the Royal Bhutan Civil Service for the final phase of their professional training.
The eight-week programme seeks to strengthen core administrative skills, promote peer-supported reflection on field experiences during District Training, broaden perspectives on governance challenges, & reinforce ethical conduct and commitment to public service.
In her inaugural address, Ms. Sowjanya, Joint Director, LBSNAA, urged Officer Trainees to build enduring professional bonds, uphold composure & integrity under pressure, remain grounded in service & place citizens' dignity & institutional values at the centre of every decision.
Presenting the course overview, Shri Kranti Kumar Pati, Dy. Director & Course Coordinator, described Phase-II as the bridge between field experience & administrative leadership, enabling Officer Trainees to reflect, learn from peers, & prepare for independent responsibilities.
Marking the conclusion of their two year probation period as IAS Officer Trainees, the 8-week course will focus on themes such as public administration, law, ICT, leadership, field governance, legal processes, as well as technology-enabled, citizen-centric administration.
