National Workshop on Land Records Management: Institutional Challenges and Issues

The Centre for Rural Studies has conducted a national workshop on ““Land Records Management: Institutional Challenges & Issues”” from 26-27 February 2018 at Karmshila Conference Hall, LBSNAA. The Director, LBSNAA and Centre Director, CRS welcomed the participants and shared their valuable inputs and structured precedence for various presentations of the states. The participants of the workshop represented from various states across India. These states are Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam and Telengana. Valuable inputs were shared in the group work and on the basis of presentations and group discussion the recommendations and policy suggestions formulated. CRS is preparing the proceeding of the workshop and it will be sent to the Department of Land Resources, Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, various states governments, academic institutions and training institutions for policy framework and planning.
