On the occasion of celebrating India@75, a publication titled “Unsung Heroes : A Tribute” containing the invincible spirits and the heroic stories of unsung heroes of India’s struggle for Independence has been compiled by the participants of the 15th Phase-IV Mid-Career Training Programme. The Chief Guest for the day Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension, released the publication. Shri Lok Ranjan, Director, LBSNAA was also present on the occasion.Delivering the keynote address on “India@75: The Road Ahead” Dr. Jitendra Singh reminded us of the sacrifices, relentless energy and dedication of these ‘Unsung Heroes’ and that the current generation has many a lessons to learn from them. He reiterated that the next 25 years are very crucial for India and Civil Servants have a pivotal role to play in country’s development journey and they can be proud to be witnessing the same.
