Duties and responsibilities for the posts of Physical Training Instructors

 To conduct physical training and various sports activities to the Officer Trainees of the All India Services and Central Service Group ‘A’.  To lead the officer’s trainees in mountaineering and trekking activities.

Duties and responsibilities for the posts of Hindi Instructor and Language Instructors

 To conduct language classes to the officer’s trainees of the All India Services and Central Service Group ‘A’.

Duties and responsibilities for the posts of Riding Instructors

 Teaching officer trainees of All India Services who want to learn riding. Helping individual riders to prepare for riding/jumping, helping horses and riders to warm up and cool down during training, developing training modules suited to individual riders, giving practical demonstrations, observing riders in order to spot and help correct problems.

Duties and responsibilities for the post of Pathology Assistant

To perform the duties of Pathologist, both for Indoor & Outdoor patients and will do other duties assigned by Chief Medical Officer/Medical Officer, LBSNAA, Mussoorie.

Duties and responsibilities for the post of Nurse

The Nurse is responsible for the complete nursing care of the patient assigned to her. To assess the needs of the patients in the ward and make nursing care plan for all patients. He/She will fulfill all basic needs (hygienic need, nutritional need etc) of the patients. He/She will provide comfort to the patient and maintain safety of the patient. He/She will do other duties assigned to him by Chief Medical Officer/Medical Officers, LBSNAA.

Duties and responsibilities for the post of Pharmacist (Junior)

The Pharmacist (Junior) will be personally responsible for the correct dispensing as per preions issued by the Medical Officer and for the safe custody of the stores received by him.

  • To keep the entire inventory under safe custody & store as per prescribed guidelines of temperature humidity, cold chain etc., and management of material in the store.
  • To prepare dai1y summary of expenditure of medicines in a register and obtain countersign attested of Chief Medical Officer Incharge.
  • To checking preions to ensure that there are no errors and that they are appropriate and safe for the individual patient.
  • To providing advice on the dosage of medicines and the most appropriate form of medication, for example, tablet, injection, ointment or inhaler.
  • Other duties assigned by Chief Medical Officer/Medical Officers, LBSNAA.

 Duties and responsibilities for the post of Pharmacist

The Pharmacist will be responsible to the Medical Officer Incharge and the Medical Officer entrusted with the supervision of dispensary stores for the safe, storage, protection from loss, damage or deterioration in the condition, of stocks entrusted to his charge.

  • He will arrange to keep stores in a neat and orderly manner and ensure that all containers, bottles, packages, etc. are properly labeled.
  • He will prepare and submit regular indents to the Medical Store Depot in accordance with the delivery programme issued by the Depot from time to time. He will follow meticulously, all indenting procedures circulated from time to time.
  • He wil1 take necessary steps to replenish stocks well in time to avoid any difficulty in supply on account of any item going out of stock.
  • He will bring to the notice of the Medical Officer Incharge and submit urgent demands within time when the stock require replenishment to allow replacement to be made before actual depletion occur.
  • He will ensure that a buffer stock of a minimum of 15 days is always available in respect of listed items.
  • Carry out any other duty assigned by the Medical Officer Incharge with the nature of work.

Duties and responsibilities for the posts of Administrative Officer, Asstt. Administrative Officer, Superintendent, Assistant, UDC and LDC 

 Administrative Officer and Asstt. Administrative Officer

 The duties and responsibilities attached to the posts of Administrative Officer, Asstt. Administrative Officer are multifarious, like management of all the service matters, right from the framing of Recruitment Rules, recruitment to the posts, maintenance of the service records, ACR/APAR; grant of various leaves and other  concessions and facilities available as per the Rules with respect to the Gazetted Officers/staff; dealing with all legal matters at various courts in India; Joining and relieving formalities of Officer Trainees and APAR/Confirmation of Officer Trainees, apart from the overall day-to-day assistance to the Head of the Office for the smooth functioning of the office.

Assistant

Submitting proposals for taking decisions to Sr. Officers, the final proposal of appointment, retirement benefits, to draw attention, where necessary, to precedents or Rules and Regulations on the subject, to bring out clearly the questions under consideration and suggest a course of action wherever possible, to organized training programmes of various courses being conducted in the Academy, to co-ordinate with the faculty member for finalizing, printing and distribution of the reading materials.

Upper Division Clerk/Lower Division Clerk

Assisting the Administrative Officer/Superintendent in all his matters. To help in organized training programmes of various courses being conducted in the Academy, helped in procurement of equipment/furniture, stationery, Scrutiny of cases of establishment as well as supervision of dispatch work, Typing work in the Section/Division, Diary and dispatch, Maintenance of files, Registration of papers and maintenance of circulars and registers, Records management and any other work assigned by the superiors.

Duties and responsibilities for the posts of Administrative Officer Accounts) and Junior Account Officer.

Administrative Officer (Accounts)

Administrative Officer (Acctts.) is functioning as drawing and disbursement officer. To ensure that budget is drawn up according to the instructions issued by Finance Ministry/DoPT. To scrutinize budget proposals thoroughly, before sending them to DoPT. To see that complete departmental accounts are maintained in accordance with the requirements under GFR. To advice the Administrative Authorities on all financial matters falling within the field of delegated power. To involve in all stages of procurement. To advice on matters related to planning, budgeting, procurement and post-contractual.

Junior Account Officer

The preparation of the budget proposals, monitoring/reviewing the progress of the expenditure against sanctioned grant, scrutinizing the bills and vouchers submitted for payment, vetting of the tender/purchases, are the prime responsibilities included in the duties and responsibilities to the post of Junior Accounts Officer.

Duties and responsibilities for the posts of Electronic Data Processing cadre:

  •  Principal System Analyst - Promotion, Planning, Design and Development of Computerization service of LBSNAA. To undertake day-to-day activities, Training, Maintenance and Hardware Support etc.

  • Senior System Analyst - Design and develop systems, sub-systems and programs.  Helped in design and development of computerization service of LBSNAA. To undertake day-to-day activities, Training, Maintenance and Hardware Support etc.

  • Data Processing Assistant - To render assistance to Academy in reprographic work and to maintain equipments etc.  Provides software/hardware information and performs technical support services for computer users; does related work as required.

  • Data Entry Operator Grade-‘C’ - Organizes documents; prepares and codes data for entry into computer system. Enters data into system via on-line terminals and other data entry devices; verifies for accuracy and completeness. Helped in provides software/hardware information and performs technical support services for computer users; does related work as required.

  • Data Entry Operator Grade-‘B’ - Data Entry Operator Grade ‘B’ enters information into computer databases for effective record keeping. Organizing files and collecting data to be entered into the computer. To keep records of Computer/ Printers/UPS etc. and perform such other related tasks and duties as assigned.
